1. Requirements for the parallelism between the mold parting surface and the template plane.

2. Requirements for the perpendicularity of guide pillars and guide sleeves to the template.

3. The moving and fixed mold insert planes on the parting surface should be 0.1-0.05mm higher than the moving and fixed mold sleeve plates.

4. The ejector plate and return rod should be flush with the parting surface; generally, the ejector rod should be recessed by 0.1mm or as per user requirements.

5. All moving parts on the mold should move reliably without any stagnation or pin movement.

6. The slider should be reliably positioned, maintaining a distance from the casting when the core is extracted; after the slider and block are closed, at least 2/3 of the mating area should be present.

7. The sprue should be smooth and seamless.

8. The local gap between the inserts and the parting surface should be <0.05mm when the mold is closed.

9. Cooling water channels should be unobstructed with inlet and outlet markings.

10. The surface roughness of the molded parting surface should be Rs=0.04, with no minor scratches.
